Market Update – April 2021

Market Update – April 2021

Last month, year-over-year overall housing prices were up 23% in the City of Toronto. This exceptionally high growth rate was caused by the sudden pause in Toronto real estate market activity back in April 2020 when uncertainty around the Coronavirus set in. As a result, the year over year comparisons in the graphics below display pronounced growth. I encourage anyone looking for more insight on the current market environment to speak to a professional and as always, I am here to help. For a more in depth geographic look at how the numbers played out for April 2021, I have broken out the key statistics by Toronto’s districts (Central, West & East) as defined by the Toronto Regional Real Estate Board (TRREB).

There’s absolutely No Obligation – I am always available to discuss real estate trends and how you stand to benefit in the current market environment.
